Below is your first look at the menus from the upcoming Ultimate Avengers 2 DVD from Marvel and Lions Gate that goes on sale Aug. 8.

Warning: some of the scene index titles contain minor spoilers.

Here's how the 73-minute feature is described:

"Picking up where the popular Ultimate Avengers: The Movie left off, the film will feature some of Marvel's most popular superheroes including Captain America, The Hulk, Iron Man, Thor and – for the first time ever in animated form – The Black Panther. Set in Wakanda, deep in the heart of Africa, the film features non-stop animated action that stays true to its comic book roots and boasts highly-entertaining bonus features including a gag reel, a featurette, DVD-ROM game, first looks at Iron Man and Dr. Strange and a trailer gallery.

"To save humanity, the Earth's mightiest heroes must reunite for a rematch of heroic proportions. Mysterious Wakanda; lies in the darkest heart of Africa, unknown to most of the world. An isolated land hidden behind closed borders, fiercely protected by its young king - The Black Panther. A king who holds the fate of the entire earth in his hands. Because brutal alien invaders are coming, soon to fill every sky and control every land, seeking what is buried beneath ancient Wakanda. That leaves The Black Panther with a single option, one that goes against the sacred decrees of his people – to ask for help from outsiders. And so he turns to The Avengers. These mightiest of heroes have battled the aliens before, and barely survived. They thought it was over. They were wrong."

The official Web site for the DVD can be found here.

Meanwhile, a review by Kung Fu Rodeo hits the sequel for being "rushed" with "a mess of a story, worse animation than the first movie, action scenes oscillating between confusing and boring rather than fun and exciting, and damn near every action movie cliché you can think of."

Still, die-hard fans should find "a few things to enjoy," the fan site says, including the Black Panther's introduction and the action which is more violent than the first. You can read the entire review here.
