Rachel 'Snow' Weisz in new Disney ads

With the help of Disney and photographer Annie Leibovitz, Rachel Weisz's Snow White dream comes true.
Oscar-winner Rachel Weisz (The Mummy) has stepped into the famous corset and hairband of Snow White for portraits shot by celebrity photographer Annie Leibovitz to be included in Disney's "Year of a Million Dreams" Ad Campaign, which has been extended to the end of '08.

"I’m a woman now, but it doesn’t matter what age your are, I think you always want to be Snow White," said the 36-year-old British star, portrayed befriending animals in a forest. "It is every little girl’s dream. And to be photographed by Annie, one of the great living artists, is really an amazing collaboration."

"Rachel Weisz was just a perfect Snow White," Leibovitz said, revealing that Weisz's alabaster skin and dark hair played a part. "When you work with this calibre of actor, it takes just a few seconds, a few minutes, to do these pictures."

The celebration pics also include Dame Julie Andrews (Mary Poppins) as Pinocchio's Blue Fairy, soccer king David "Bend It Like" Beckham as Prince Phillip, singer Beyonce Knowles (Dreamgirls) as Alice In Wonderland and Scarlett Johansson (The Spirit) as Cinderella. They will be inserted into December issues of such magazines as Vanity Fair, GQ, Vogue and Details.

Jay Rasulo, chairman of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, said the campaign was "about the imaginations and dreams that are inside us all."
