Gears of War 2 Confirmed By Epic Games
The sequel to one of video gamings biggest selling, most awarded, and critically acclaimed games for 2006 has been established.
During the 2006 Game Developers Choice Awards ceremony in San Francisco, Games designef ro Epic games, Cliff "Cliffy B" Blezinski, collected four awards for Gears of War, including the Game of the Year.
Cliffy B made a media presentation the next morning, and was able to confirm that Gears of War, which sold over 3 Million games as an exclusive Xbox 360 title, would have a sequel.
Microsoft has hinted at a trilogy of "Gears" games, and given the success of the title, there are probably at least two more coming down the pipe.
