SETH MCFARLANE TO HAVE MOVIE DIRECTORIAL DEBUT

The creator of Family Guy and American Dad now moving to the big screen
Seth Mcafarlane, the creator of TV hits Family Guy, The Cleveland Show, and American Dad, is now looking to make a move to the big screen. Entertainment Weekly is reporting the Mcfarlane is working out a deal with Universal Pictures to make an R-rated movie about a man and his teddy bear. Mcfarlane would direct the film, as well as provide the voice for the teddy bear, which would be CGI. Apparently the teddy bear causes problems and comes between its owner and his girlfriend. Here is a further description of the movie from EW......

"The script, from MacFarlane and Family Guy writers Alec Sulkin and Wellesley Wild, centers on a seemingly normal man who, as a child, made a wish that he could talk to his bear, only to have his bear come alive. The bear grows up alongside the man and their relationship isn’t really questioned until the man’s girlfriend poses an ultimatum: her or the bear. Who would play the girlfriend? Sources tell EW.com that MacFarlane wants to cast his pal Mila Kunis (Forgetting Sarah Marshall), who has voiced Meg Griffin on Family Guy since 1999......"

This movie sounds like it could work, or be a disaster. Hopefully the script will be great. Ofcourse I'll see anything with Mila Kunis in it.
