Jolie to Star as Cleopatra in New Movie
Angelina Jolie is attached to star in a bio-pic about the Egyptian Queen!
Some of the older crowd may picture Elizabeth Taylor when you discuss a Cleopatra movie, but Hollywood is taking it up a notch. Angelina Jolie is attached to star in a new bio-pic of the African Queen titled "Cleopatra: A Life." The film is based of a book written by Stacy Schiff.
Producer Scott Rudin has bought the rights to the book and his office confirmes that the project "is being developed for and with Jolie."
Most would think, and the author agrees, that the role of Mark Antony would be a no-brainer...Brad Pitt.
No word on release date or the inclusion of other character or actors for the film, though one can assume that Julius Caesar would be included as well.
