Jonathan Hickman On The Death Of A Fantastic Four Member!
The comic book writer discusses the upcoming storyline "Three" which will apparently feature the death of one of the team members...
"When I first came up with the book I laid out a pretty extensive year plan," Hickman told Comic Book Resources in a recent interview. "This is the midpoint of that. Three will bring the worst week in the lives of the Fantastic Four. At the end of the day where we had four of them, we're only going to have three of them."
"Its certainly going to happen and it certainly has a point," Hickman said when asked about the changes the that will occur in the team. "It's going to change things and I think it's going to work towards the betterment of the book."
Hickman went on to explain that in the story arc, pencilled by Steve Epting, we'll see plenty of classic FF characters including Galactus, Doctor Doom and Namor. Rumours are also circulating that Fantastic Four will be cancelled at some point next year. When asked whether there would be a series called Fantastic Four in a year's time, Brevoort teased: "No. No there won't be." However, he refused to elaborate further.
