During a Q & A, Longtime movie music composer Danny Elfman reveals he will travel down the yellow brick road to do the score for director Sam Raimi's Oz: The Great & Powerful
BUZZ IN MUSIC were in attendance during a Q & A with movie music composer Danny Elfman. After reminiscing about his work with Tim Burton, Elfman let it slip that he would be working on the latest adventure to the wonderful world of Oz in Oz: The Great & Powerful.
This is rather shocking news due to the director of the film being non other then Sam Raimi. The two's last pairing for the superhero blockbuster Spider-Man 2 ended in a rather light hearted rift.
Oz: The Great & Powerful hits theaters March 8, 2013 starring James Franco, Mila Kunis, Michelle Williams, Rachel Weisz, Joey King, and Zach Braff.
