Emma Watson Set To Star In A Guillermo Del Toro Directed Remake Of Beauty & The Beast
We now know whats next for the Harry Potter star coming of the franchises end, she will team up with director Guillermo Del Toro on a remake of Beauty & The Beast...
It seems Del Toro has announced another one, this time Del Toro will be making (or is saying he will) make a remake of Beauty & The Beast, but you know, more...Del Toroish. That means silence for the singing to make room for the strange.
Coming Soon got word of this project via producer Denise Di Novi during a press junket for the upcoming romantic comedy Crazy, Stupid, Love. Interestingly enough Di Novi also revealed the Hogwarts alum Emma Watson will be joining the project unassumingly as the beauty Belle.
Now keep in mind that this will either take forever to make, or will never be made at all. Del Toro is currently drowning in a sea of projects that include Pacific Rim, a remake of the TV show Munsters, a TV show for The Incredible Hulk, a retelling of Pinocchio, and many more. Ironically the only movie he dropped out of, An adaption of The Hobbit, which is serving as a prequel to The Lord Of The Rings under the helm of Middle Earth's go to guy Peter Jackson, is the only one no longer struggling to get off the ground.
News is scarce on Beauty & The Beast, so no more info (release, filming start, others stars ect.) is known as of now; but you can check back here for more news on the project as it comes.
