Brando Back From the Dead in Superman Returns
Marlon Brando may come back from the grave as Jor-El in Bryan Singer's Superman movie.
The late Marlon Brando, who played Jor-El in the original Superman movie directed by Richard Donner, may return to the role in Bryan Singer's Superman Returns.
How? No, he won't be CGI-ed like some classic actors such as Steve McQueen and John Wayne have been in some TV commercials. Instead, Singer may use stock footage from the Donner film to fill in the brief glimpses of Jor-El planned for his film, according to Latino Review.
Meanwhile, Felicity star Keri Russell talked with About.com, sharing her disappointment at not being chosen to play Lois Lane. She had high hopes. "How high were they? I would have loved to have done it," says Russell, "but that movie went through three different directors, so...I was just merely a part of the process. And the most recent incarnation was this new director… It may be a blessing in disguise. I mean doing a movie like that is the next six years of your life."
