Will X-Men 3 be filming in Austin Texas? CHUD.com reader Casey Moore has forwarded us a casting call announcement from Craigslist - which a quick search seems to indicate was only posted on the Austin Craigslist. Here's what the ad says:

So what does this mean? Is Austin the epicenter of the next X picture? I can think of two big directors who call Austin home base - Richard Linklater, who has shown with School of Rock and the upcoming Bad News Bears that he isn't exclusively indie, and Robert Rodriguez, whose comic book movie Sin City is coming really, really soon.
Of course, it does saying that travel MAY be required. But if this is a nationwide extras call - why don't the New York or LA Craigslist have it? Perhaps a southwestern flavor is in store for us on the next film...
