1st Look at Nic Cage in Ghost Rider
Here's your first glimpse of Cage as Johnny Blaze in the upcoming Ghost Rider film.
A sneak peek at Nic Cage as Johnny Blaze, the Ghost Rider, is now on the Web.
Director Mark Steven Johnson told a fan site that comic book character roles are now attracting A-list actors.
"Most of these guys are comic-book geeks like me," Johnson told Net Whatever. "Nic is one of the biggest fans of the comic book out there."
That's evidenced by Cage's Ghost Rider tattoo on his arm. Makeup artists had to cover it for the film. Says Johnson: "The irony is we had to remove Nic's Ghost Rider so he could play Ghost Rider."

Ghost Rider is now being filmed in Australia and debuts Aug. 4, 2006.
