Iceman, Rogue, Angel Interviews

The next generation of X-Men talk as mutants make their Last Stand!
Warning: Spoilers

With X-Men: The Last Stand opening today, fans worry that perhaps this will be the last Marvel mutant movie. Although Wolverine and Magneto spin-offs are planned, another X-Men movie has been discussed, according to scripter Zak Penn.

Three of the likely stars of any upcoming X-film recently talked with Comics Continuum.

Here's highlights:

From Shawn Ashmore (Bobby Drake/Iceman) on the Danger Room sequence: "It was incredible. We took forever -- forever. We started on first unit and they couldn't get everything they needed to do second unit. It was a huge outdoor set, just outside of Vancouver. There's like neighbors complaining and stuff. At 4 in the morning, there's like massive mushroom cloud explosions. It was a lot of fun, and there's some really cool stuff in there."

He also talks about Iceman's feud with Pyro, the cure's impact on mutants and Bobby Drake's interest in Kitty Pryde.

Anna Paquin (Rogue) on the cure: "With the cure, she has an option. She can either be cured and change her life forever, or accept who she is and continue living with the feelings of isolation that accompany her mutation."

Paquin also talks about the curse/gift of Rogue's power and humans' overriding need for touch.

Ben Foster (Warren Worthington III/Angel) on his relationship with his mutant-fearing father, played by Michael Murphy: "It was important for both of us going in that it wasn't son against father or father against son. In this particular circumstance, although a 16-foot wingspan is a beautiful thing to behold, it's considered to be a horrible disfigurement. And they're in agreement about this, and the both want to make life easier."

He also talks about getting fitted for his prosthetic wings. You can read more of the interviews at the links below:
