Gerard Butler Bails out on Escape from New York
The "Escape from New York" remake hasn't even begun filming but Gerard Butler has left the project.
Right off the tail of 300 Gerard Butler had signed on to join the remake of John Carpenter's "Escape From New York" filling the role of Snake Plissken.
Sighting "creative differences" Butler has left the project.
New Line has brought Jonathan Mostow to rewrite the script and he could fill the role of director as well.
