Derek Mears Dons the Role of Jason Voorhees
The Platinum Dunes remake of Friday the 13th has found their hockey masked killer by casting Derek Mears.
Derek Mears was recently seen in "The Hills Have Eyes 2" and now is ramping up to take part in "Friday the 13th."
The film is slated for release on Friday February 13th, 2009. Marcus Nispel (Pathfinder and Texas Chainsaw Massacre) is directing while Damian Shannon and Mark Swift are writing the screenplay.
