RED DAWN and ROBOCOP Remake

MGM is pushing ahead on a remake of the 80's guys flick RED DAWN and confirmed possibilities of a new ROBOCOP.
Recently at the Cannes film festival, Harry Sloan and Mary Parent of MGM revealed some news on upcoming projects one of which includes a remake of 1984's RED DAWN by director John Millus (Conan) and starred Patrick Swayze.

RED DAWN follows a group of young teen Americans who fight back against Soviet forces who've invaded the country.

On a side note the MGM announcement also confirmed ROBOCOP could resurface with a brand new spin on the franchise.
