Fox to Produce a Western with a Sci-Fi Twist
Chuck executive producer Scott Rosenbaum has sold to Fox, via Warner Bros. TV and McG's Wonderland Sound and Vision, what is being described as "an epiic Western with a sci-fi twist" (and which our tongue-in-cheek main image has the slightest of connections to).
Explained Rosenbaum to The Hollywood Reporter, "The show will revolve around a gunslighter caught between two worlds, and there will be a nod to Planet of the Apes. What I'm really interested in is the revamping of the Western genre where you still have all of the iconic Western themes and iconic Western tropes but the idea is that it will feel incredibly contemporary and will introduce the Western to a whole new generation."
