Gilligans Island movie gets the Greenlight
Hollywoods latest t.v. show turned to a movie gets a green light
Variety is reporting that a Gilligans Island movie has been given the greenlight. This is the latest in a slew of movies to be based on old television shows. They are even reporting that the original producer of the show has a person in mind to portray the lead character — none other than Superbad nerd Michael Cera. Though no official casting has yet to be announced.

Is there any old tv show out there that's NOT in some stage of production for a movie? SHEESH!

Some of them can be very interesting but Gilligan's Island? Really?
