Geneon Launches 'Daphne in the Brilliant Blue'

Geneon has announced the launch of anime series Daphne in the Brilliant Blue, based on the manga by Satoshi Shiki, for March 1, 2005.
The first volume, Daphne in the Brilliant Blue-Initiation Vol. 1, will ship with a special limited edition mini-comic by Shiki. The subbed and dubbed DVD will also include a creditless opening and carry a $29.98 MSRP.

The first volume will also ship in a Daphne in the Brilliant Blue Collectors Box SKU, which will include two mini-figurines of Maia Mizuki and Reina Honjo at a $44.98 MSRP.

The series is sci-fi adventure story in which lead character Maia Mizuki fails the entrance exam to get into the Ocean Agency and instead takes a job with the Nereides, sexy agents who take only the most high-paying and dangerous jobs.
