Disney scoops up Peter and the Starcatchers
A prequel to Peter Pan will become a big screen computer animated movie...
The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Jay Wolpert has been acquired to adapt the novel 'Peter and the Starcatchers' for the big screen. The novel takes place before Peter Pan and it has Peter stowing away on a merchant ship. Finding a treasure chest full of celestial substance (one can assume pixie-dust). The ship then gets hi jacked and Peter must save the day. Disney, the great company they are for scooping up the fairy tales are planning to release this journey as a computer animated movie.
