No New Justice League Until Spring

Fans of the Cartoon Network series have a much longer wait than expected for fresh episodes.
Fans, thirsty for new Justice League Unlimited episodes, had hope that the Jan. 10 release of The Flash TV series on DVD might knock loose some new episodes. But now it appears there'll be no new shows until late spring/early summer.

That's what a Cartoon Network exec told Comics Continuum. No definite dates have been scheduled.

The last new shows aired Sept. 24. The ultimate fate of the show is unknown.

Meanwhile, Geoff Johns has reportedly worked on a new Hawkman episode and the Legion of Super-Heroes is slated to appear with Supergirl in an upcoming episode.
In the episode, Supergirl is kidnapped to the 31st century for what the history books say was her last adventure, according to Comics Continuum. The Fatal Five appears, as do more than 20 Legionaires. Brainiac 5 and Bouncing Boy are also in the episode. Brainiac 5 was Supergirl's boyfriend in the comic series.

Finally, Toonami UK hinted at upcoming events that says there's "a two-part series finale" that "reveal the real reason behind all the super-villain's recent attacks and lead to the most unexpected team-up in Justice League history."

And Mark Hamill, who played The Trickster 14 years ago on The Flash, returns to voice the character in the upcoming "Flash and Substance" episode, starring the Rogues' Gallery.
