Animated Iron Man TRAILER and updates
Calling it a "battle of modern technology versus eastern mythology", Marvel.com recently released a new trailer for its upcoming origin story, along with a handful of high-powered screenshots.
Having been one of Marvel’s most successful franchises of all time, The Invincible Iron Man hopes to satisfy longtime fans of the franchise and successfully translate the legend onto the small screen. "While raising the ruins of a long buried Chinese kingdom, billionaire inventor Tony Stark digs up far more than he bargained for. He unleashes an age-old prophecy that foretells the resurrection of the Mandarin, the emperor of China's darkest and most violent dynasty. In order to confront the destructive force, Tony creates an armored suit infused with high-tech weaponry. To stop the evil that he himself has raised from the earth, Tony must become his greatest invention ever -- Iron Man!"
The DVD is packed with extras, including: two featurettes, an alternate opening and a second look at the Dr. Strange film in development (the first can be found on the Ultimate Avengers 2 DVD).
