INDIANA JONES: Cartoon Network Whips Up Animated LEGO Flick

Cartoon Network will present the new CG mini-film LEGO Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Brick on May 10th.
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull swings into theaters in just three weeks, and Cartoon Network is heralding the arrival in its own inimitable fashion.

LEGO Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Brick, the newest CG animation LEGO mini movie, premieres as a CN commercial event on Saturday, May 10 at 9 pm ET, during the Toonami programming block. It will be hosted by Crystal Skull star Shia LaBeouf.

Produced by M2 Films, the four-minute Lost Brick uses the same style of kid-friendly CGI animation found in the popular LEGO Star Wars games.

Leading up to the premiere, Cartoon Network will promote Lost Brick through custom ads on-air and at CartoonNetwork.com, where visitors can preview Part One of the mini movie beginning the week of April 28th, and Part Two the next week. The full-length spot will be available online following the TV debut.

Additionally, CartoonNetwork.com will feature three levels of a LEGO Indiana Jones online game.

"Following the success of our Star Wars Revenge of the Brick event, our new four-act feature movie is designed to combine the construction, fun and humor of LEGO bricks and minifigures with Indiana Jones adventures to celebrate another blockbuster LEGO line of construction sets based on an iconic movie property," said LEGO Systems senior brand manager Michael Pratt.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull takes a bow on May 22nd.
