Imogen Poots cast As Female Lead In Fright Night

Craig Gillespie's remake of the 80s horror/comedy classic appears to have cast all of its principal charters at this point as Heatvision confirms that Poots will join Anton Yelchin, Colin Farrell, Toni Collette, David Tennant and Christopher Mintz-Plasse.
According to Bloody Disgusting, who first broke the casting, she plays a character named Amy, popular high school senior who "needs to get nasty" by the finale. She plays Yelchin's girlfriend, who is "part of the popular crowd and unaware of his earlier life as a nerd."
If you haven't seen the original, The movie centers on a teen (Yelchin) convinced that his new neighbor is a vampire. Michael De Luca and Alison R. Rosenzweig are producing, Craig Gillespie is directing, and shooting starts this summer down in New Mexico.
