CONFIRMED: JJ Abrams And Jonathan Nolan's Person Of Interest Picked Up By CBS!
CBS has ordered a pilot for Person of Interest, from the formidable team of Jonathan Nolan and JJ Abrams, reports Deadline...
Written by Nolan, Person of Interest focuses on an ex-CIA hitman who teams with a scientist to, "Prevent crimes before they happen." Further details regarding the project are unknown - which is not surprising considering the typically secretive participants. Nolan is of course the brother to Christopher Nolan, and served as a writer on his brother's films The Prestige and The Dark Knight, along with writing the original short story Memento was based on.
Abrams will serve as executive producer under his Bad Robot production company, alongside Bryan Burk, who has collaborated with Abrams on many projects, including Lost, Alias, Fringe and Star Trek.
Another Abrams-produced pilot, Alcatraz (written by Lost alum Liz Sarnoff), is currently filming for FOX.
