Ex-cop's dark storyline gets a new edge
Screenwriter Scott Rosenberg, who adapted the hit comic series Men In Black to the big screen, will be adapting Eman Torre's The Dark Fringe to film. Torre cut into comics 1st in 1993 as the main inker for the independent label Brainstorm comics and after establishing himself went on to write his all-time favorite, DF.
The story deals with the inner battles of ex-cop Allen Stone, who, after the murder of his wife is presented with a lead to a suspect who may or may not be guilty. Stone is determined to bring whoever is responsible to their knees, but is skeptical about who is telling the truth in The Dark Fringe.
