Hugo Weaving is Megatron
In the upcoming Transformers movie, Megatron will be voiced by Hugo Weaving, best known for his roles in The Matrix and Lord of the Rings.
According to ComingSoon.net the report comes from the viral promotional Web site SectorSeven.org, which it accessed using the password "NBETWO." Sector Seven is a top-secret organization that is part of the Transformers storyline. The news is hidden: Clicking on the scorpion at the bottom reveals a list of e-mails. The first one, "Counter-Information Campaign," contains the casting news.
Transformers, based on the 1980s toy, comic-book and TV franchise, opens July 4.
