More 'Anacondas'!
The erstwhile "Michael Knight" to headline back-to-back snake sequels.
Sony Pictures has greenlit two more installments in the Anaconda franchise, now to star David Hasselhoff (Knight Rider), reports Moviehole's Clint Morris. Director Don E. FauntLeRoy (Urban Justice) is shooting the films back to back in Romania.
In Anaconda 3 : The Offspring, Hasselhoff--once the star of the most popular syndicated TV series on Earth--plays a mercenary hired by a billionaire to capture a dangerous serpent that may aid in curing a terminal illness.
The cast includes Crystal Allen (Enterprise) and John Rhys-Davies (Lord of the Rings).
The flicks will play on the Sci Fi Channel before going to DVD.
