JAMES BOND 22 Gets A Title
Casino Royale was a box office smash, and provided us with the greatest Bond ever – flame bait? – so what’s the title to the next movie in the hit franchise?
Thanks to a Reuters article, we’ve got the low down on the next Bond film, to be entitled Quantum of Solace. A catchy title, and one that is definitely a leap away from the “Tomorrow Never Dies” themes from yesteryear.
According to the article, the movie is going to focus on Bond attempting to achieve revenge for the loss of his love, played by Eva Green in Casino Royale. His vendetta will see him taken to Austria, Italy and South America, revealed on Thursday at Pinewood Studios outside London. The synopsis apparently sees Bond girl Camille – to be played by Ukrainian-born Olga Kurylenko – leading Bond to Dominic Greene, played by Frenchman Mathieu Amalric, a member of a mysterious organization. If my guess is correct, that organization will be SMERSH, although that may change with the current day themes of the movies.
"James Bond is after revenge, and Camille is after revenge … They have slightly different goals, but in the end they are going to have to collaborate," Kurylenko told reporters.
Quantum Solace is due for release November 7th, later this year.
