John Cleese Joins Cast of THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL
IGN has reported that John Cleese will join Keanu Reeves in the classic sci-fi remake alongside Jennifer Connelly and Jaden Smith.
John Cleese, the well known Monthy Python Verteran. will don the role of physicist Dr. Barnhardt who in The Day the Earth Stood Still works towards understanding why Alien Klaatu (Keanu Reeves) is on earth.
The film is currently filming in Vancouver and is expected for a holiday release on December 12, 2008.
