CONAN Director Rumors Surfacing
On Thursday, Bloody-Disgusting tossed out a big horror name for Conan director, and today IGN Movies added a few more to the list of contenders.
Nu Image/Millennium Films recently struck a deal with the WGA to allow writers Thomas Dean Donnelly and Joshua Oppenheimer to write the script for a new Conan movie.
Now producers of the film are seeking out directors. Yesterday BloodyDisgusting.com said Rob Zombie had met with Nu Image and Lionsgate whille today IGN confirms Xavier Gens (Hitman) has had meetings with producers and Neil Marshall (The Descent) is another possible candidate.
It's being reported that no matter how many people are in the running for the role of director one will not be chosen until the script is completed.
