"In the fourth largest grossing non-holiday, three-day weekend movie opening ever, X2 teleported in a Colossus-size $86 million over the weekend. Only Spider-Man and the two Harry Potter movies have done better in their premieres. That’s a 58% increase over the original’s 2000 debut. Worldwide, the film grossed $155 million.
