BATMAN: GOTHAM KNIGHT Coming to DVD

Before Batman: The Dark Knight comes to theatres, we will be treated to the animated film Batman: Gotham Knight, which features six stories of Bruce Wayne as Batman that fill story points between the two films.
It has been announced by Warner Home Video that Batman: Gotham Knight will come to DVD and Blu-ray on July 8 from Warner Bors. Animation and DC Comics. It will also be screened OnDemand and Pay-per-View on that same day.

Batman: Gotham Knight is using different animation styles and different stories following the life of Bruce Wayne as he becomes the Dark Knight. He'll be facing a variety of villains including Scarecrow, Killer Croc and Deadshot.

Stories were written by the likes of Josh Olson, David S. Goyer, Alan Burnett, Jordan Goldberg, Greg Rucka and Brian Azzarello. Batman:

Batman: Gotham Knight will be available on DVD and there is also to be a 2-disc Special Edition DVD available for with contains additional bonus features.

Extras will include:

* "A Mirror for the Bat: The Evil Denizens of Gotham City" - A stimulating documentary covering Gotham City¹s most nefarious of characters, combined with a look into the symbiotic relationship Batman shares with his enemies.

* "Sneak Peek: Wonder Woman" - DC Universe animated original movie

* Audio Commentary - Featuring the filmmakers of Gotham Knight.

* Widescreen (1.78:1)

The Special Edition DVD will feature even more incredible extras including:

* "Batman and Me a Devotion of Destiny: The Bob Kane Story²: The comprehensive chronology of the remarkable life of the creator of Batman.
