TRON 2 Coming to Theatres in 2011
As Disney works towards developing sequels to various franchises, they are serious about bringing Tron back to screens in 3D.
TRON, the classic sci-fi film of the 80's is on Disney's schedule and the plans involve bringing it to screens in Digital Disney 3D action. Expected for theatres in Spring of 2011 is been reported that Joseph Kosinski is likely to direct. No word yet on any cast from the original film returning but CinemaBlend had reported back in Decemeber that Jeff Bridges had looked into the project.
