SHORT CIRCUIT Remake Revives Johnny 5
The 1986 film SHORT CIRCUIT is coming back to the big screens by way of a remake as Dimension Films has acquired the rights.
The films original screenwriters S.S. Wilson and Brent Maddock have been hired to write the remake.
SHORT CIRCUIT featured a military robot, Number 5, who was struck by lightining and developed a personality and conscience. Becoming a target to be disassembled he sought out some human help and made a run to stay alive.
Johnny 5 is set to live again!
