CLOCKTOWER The Video Game Comes To The Big Screen
Capcom's video game "Clock Tower" has been picked up by Senator Entertainment for the Weinstein Co. and will be adapted into a film.
"Clock Tower" is a survival horror game in which the protagonist has to solve puzzles and follow a twisting storyline without weapons. The film adapattion is said to be based more on “Clock Tower 2: The Struggle Within,” in which the heroine finds herself locked up in a psychiatric hospital as she tries to escape the curse that has haunted her family for generations.
Senator’s Marco Weber will produce. Martin Weisz (“The Hills Have Eyes 2”) is directing with a script from Eric Poppen (“Borderland”).
