Jackson and del Toro to host Hobbit Chat
With Guillermo del Toro finally getting the directing reigns of The Hobbit and its partner – whatever it may be called – everything seems to be moving fast, with cast rumors and signings. And now, in a surprising development, if you want to sit down with del Toro and Peter Jackson, they’ve decided to let you.
Announced on the official Weta website, Jackson and del Toro will be hosting “An Unexpected Party.” Or, for those who don’t have the Lord of the Rings lore that I have, they will be hosting an internet chat session where they will be answering people’s questions.
An Unexpected Party is the first chapter of J.R.R. Tolkien’s ‘The Hobbit’, and sees poor Bilbo Baggins besieged by 12 dwarves and a wizard. He must feed them all, as they arrive on his doorstep, and he is soon caught up in a most unexpected adventure.
