Filming Begins on Terminator Salvation

According to a blog post from director McG, Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins has begun principal photography, and he is intent on delivering a film that is respectful of what has come before it.
“I’ve spent time with James Cameron, spoken to Arnold Schwarzenegger, gone over the story with Jonah Nolan, and enlisted Stan Winston,” McG wrote on the official Terminator Salvation blog. “It’s my full intention to deliver a film that lives up to the previous three installments.”

As for the look the film is going to take, McG describes everything they’ve “…designed to be tactile and real, you’ll be seeing a whole set of inspired designs you’ve never seen before, and best of all you’ll finally get to see some of the post-judgment day future that was only hinted at in the previous movies.”

Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins, is expected to debut on the 22nd of May, 2009, and stars Christian Bale as John Connor, and Anton Yelchin as Kyle Reese.
