The Hulk Weekend Box Office take during the 4th of July holiday added $8.2 million to push its total to $117 million in three weeks. The figure was good for fifth place at the box office that was dominated by "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines" which earned $72.5 million in its first five days.
The Hulk movie marks the second-biggest superhero movie of the year, behind X2's $211.9 million and ahead of Daredevil's $102.5 million. At the moment, it is also the eighth-biggest earner of the year at the domestic box office.

Variety provided the International Box Office update for The Hulk movie, and it looks pretty good!

"The Hulk" grabbed an estimated $17.3 million from 3,484 playdates in 27 countries, raising the cume to $39 million, with 27 markets, including the U.K. and Japan ahead. Eric Bana-Jennifer Connelly starrer conquered France, picking up approximately $4.8 million on 691, Spain with $2.6 million on 488 and Belgium at $700,000 on 77.

The big green guy posted Universal's fifth biggest preem in South Korea with $1.5 million on 130 and ruled in Austria, nabbing $310,000 on 71.

The major disappointment was Germany, where "The Hulk" drew just $1.6 million on 433, behind "Bruce Almighty," which retained top spot, taking $1.7 million in its fourth weekend (easing just 20%) and $16.1 million thus far. A row last week over terms between UIP and the Cinemaxx and Kinopolis loops disrupted the preem, so it launched on one-third fewer screens than planned; however, the distrib said the pic was playing on both circuits by Friday.
