Is RESIDENT EVIL 4 Imminent?
A JoBlo affiliate site reports that Resident Evil producer Paul Anderson has written a script for a fourth installment of the video-game-inspired zombie movie franchise.
Citing an anonymous source, Arrow in the Head adds that Anderson will not direct the film, which it says will be more akin to Resident Evil 2 in terms of style. The overall tone is also very dark.
Patrick Tatopoulos (director of Underworld: Rise of the Lycans) will reportedly be in charge of the creature effects, and Michael Lantieri (Jurassic Park 3) will handle the special effects.
Filming will take place in Tokyo and Toronto, which will double for Alaska.
