A Martin County woman who collapsed on the Incredible Hulk Coaster at Universal Orlando's Islands of Adventure theme park remained in critical condition Wednesday.

The woman, identified by relatives as Leslie Killer, 34, of Jensen Beach, was the victim of an apparent heart attack on Tuesday afternoon.

Dr. Nasir Rahmatullah, the cardiologist treating Killer, said she was not responding to any commands when she was brought to Sand Lake Hospital. She has no medical history of heart problems, he said.

Rahmatullah said cardiac arrest would have likely happened at some point, whether she was on the ride or not.

"It just so happened that she was on the ride," he said.

In the attraction's queue areas, there are four large signs warning guests the ride can be dangerous for people with heart troubles.

The Hulk reaches a high speed of 65 miles per hour while dropping passengers into seven loops from as high as 100 feet up during a ride of two minutes, 15 seconds. It opened in 1999.

The coaster was closed immediately after Killer's collapse for inspection and remained closed Wednesday.
