At Tuesday's 3rd Annual Eyeblaster Awards, Tribal DDB LA was honored by industry voters for their creative efforts on Universal Pictures' theatrical release of "The Hulk." The mean, green ad was selected as the Best Rich Media Ad of the Year by members of the online advertising community who cast their votes on the Eyeblaster Awards website in September and October. The 'Hulk' creative execution, which used an Eyeblaster full-page overlay format, was full of music and energy. The ad shook the screen and burst through the web page. "Whether you're this un-jolly green giant or the next Ford F-150, success depends on the ability to make an impact and break through the clutter," noted Joseph Jaffe, emcee of the Eyeblaster Awards. "In this execution for 'The Hulk', both are delivered." Rounding out the Top 5 nominees were: Modem Media (CT) for Delta Airlines "Hate Lines"; Pilot Group (Germany) for "Mentos"; United Online Creative for Blockbuster "Blockbuster Spiderman"; and WCRS (UK)/Zenith Optimedia (UK) for Mini Cooper "Challenge".
