NEWSFLASH: Though I’ve barely had time to take off the packaging from the impressive Marvel Legends Series III action figures, word comes down that series IV is loosely scheduled for an April/May release. NEWSFLASH: Michael Clarke Duncan (Daredevil) has been chatting up movie magazines lately about his hopes to appear in the next Spider-Man movie as his on-screen alter-ego, The Kingpin. Odds are greatly against this, however, as Spider-Man and Daredevil are owned by separate movie studios. Plus, as Ben Affleck himself said: "I don’t think Spider-Man needs much help at this point!"

NEWSFLASH: Patrick Stewart talked with Empire Online recently about his role as Professor Xavier in the X-Men 2 sequel. "We do see very dramatically in two places," said Stewart. "At the beginning and the end of the film, what his powers can do. And it's spectacular."

NEWSFLASH: News about potential casting in the upcoming Spider-Man sequel have been revealed by Zentertainment. Jake Gyllenhall (Donnie Darko) will apparently cameo as Kletus Kasady, a.k.a. Carnage, in the second film, setting himself up for a bigger role alongside Venom in the third movie.
