Y THE LAST MAN Party On the Way

As the comic book series Y THE LAST MAN comes to an end with issue #60 there's going to be a party in Los Angeles to celebrate the event.
An offical press release announces that the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund (CBLD) and MySpace Comic Books have joined forces for a "first-of-it's-kind event for the comic book industry". A party to celebrate the end of the critically acclaimed series Y THE LAST MAN from co-creators, writer Brian K. Vaughan and artist Pia Guerra.

The party is going to be on Feburuary 8th at Meltdown Comics in Hollywood and will be a fundraiser for the CBLD as well. Special guests include Joss Whedon, he will
kick off the night with a keynote speech in honor of Y THE LAST MAN. There will also be a live Q&A with Vaughan & Guerra.

The festivities will feature a VIP Reception before the keynote and the unveiliing of a never-before-seen print by Pia Guerra.

This event is strictly limited to 140 people. There will be 70 VIP Tickets and 70 General Admission which will be offered on a first come first served basis on the night of the event. The cost of the ticket, for VIP is $100 which includeds the reception and a limited edition print of artwork from Guerra and signed by Guerra and Vaughan.
General Admision is $25. All the procceds go directly to CBLD.
