Memorable Movie Tag Lines
It is no mean feat to sum up an entire movie in 12 words or less. Kudos, then, to all those invisible wunderkinds who, at their best, manage to convey the tone, premise and flavour of a picture in a sentence guaranteed to lodge itself in the memory.
Here at MSN Movies we think it's high time the tagline's integral role in the cinema going experience was recognised and saluted. Here are some of the best.

Allied to an image of a big shark patrolling the waves, this ingenious tagline has been parodied ever since.

Instantly memorable, endlessly quotable and chillingly ominous, the brilliant tagline for Ridley Scott's space shocker is as good as it gets.

Crank: High Voltage
Think the first one was stupid? Well, this one's even more insane! That's the message behind the tagline for this Jason Statham sequel.

What might appear menacing now had an element of beguiling wonder when Spielberg's 1977 fantasy was first released.
