Is There More To Tell About Rome?
HBO's short lived series is looking to go to the big screen.
Are Vorenus and Pullo still alive? If Morning Light Productions has anything to say about it, they are. The HBO series took place during Ancient Rome, beginning with Caesar’s invasion of Gaul and continuing with the rise of the first Emperor Augustus. At the end of the series, the two central characters, soldiers Vorenus and Pullo, appear to die.
Rome creator Bruno Heller (The Mentalist) has finished a script. Morning Light is looking for a director and a studio to distribute. EW is reporting that HBO Films will not be involved. It is hoped that stars Kevin McKidd (Lucius Vorenus) and Ray Stevenson (Titus Pullo) will likely sign onto the movie. The sequel is to be set 4 years from series end and centering in Germany.
