Arabian Nights Is Set To Star Liam Hemsworth
The 3D movie looks to start shooting by the end of this Summer
The Hemsworth name is very up and coming in Hollywood these days. Chris Hemsworth took a small role in Star Trek and turned it into a leading role as the title character in next Summer's Thor. Now, his brother Liam is getting into the act. He is in negotiations to star in Arabian Nights.
As expected, the movie will be a twist of the age old story. Hemsworth will be playing a military figure whose king has been murdered. He joins up with Sinbad and Aladdin to rescue Queen Scheherazade. In the original story, Queen Scheherazade repeatedly saves herself from death at the hands of the Persian king by sharing tales with him on a nightly basis.
The Russell and Barry P. Ambrose written movie will be directed by Chuck Russell (The Scorpion King).
Liam will be seen next in Disney's upcoming Miley Cyrus drama The Last Song.
