War Of The Gods Has An Identity Crisis
Another name change is in store plus, more casting news
In a press release put out by Relativity Media, it was announced that War of Gods will now officially be called Immortals. This is the third name being put out for the movie. They had also toyed with the title Dawn of War. Sounds like Immortals may stick though. There is another movie that may or may not get made with a similar title and theme: God of War. That movie is based off the popular mythology video game and has been languishing in development hell.
Two new cast members have been added. John Hurt (Hellboy) has been cast as Zeus and Isabel Lucas (Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen) will play Athena.

Immortals follows the mythological tale of the young warrior Theseus, who leads his men into battle with the immortal Greek gods to defeat evil and the powerful elder gods of the Titans in order to save mankind. Tarsem Singh directs the film that began shooting in Montreal this week.
