Captain America: A Brief Update From Joe Johnston

Earths Mightiest received a brief update from Captain America director Joe Johnston, who is settling into his new home away from home, England, where The First Avenger: Captain America is going to be filmed.
Offers the director, "I'm just about over my jet lag and starting to adjust to UK time. Captain America is getting up to speed now that we have Chris Evans in the lead. We're scouting locations all over England and have found some beautiful and as yet unseen spots to put on film."

One thing is for sure with Johnston at the helm, the movie will be visually stunning. Can't wait to see the battle scenes with The Invaders!

Cool Stuff Ed!

I'm actually excited about it. Plus, given his work on Rocketeer and October Sky, he has a real feel for these bygone eras, which should serve Cap well.

If things go as planned, I'll be providing plenty more tidbits of information about the film.

@Dogs - I agree! I can't wait to find out which Invaders they will be including and to find out some more casting. Hugo Weaving hasn't been confirmed as the Red Skull yet, has he?
