I'm just saying it's an improvement and more atmospheric than the TRAILERS for the first two films.

Watching this I don't understand why anyone would willingly want to become a vampire? I have read these books and I wasn't a fan.
Ed I agree the footage looks better. I watched New Moon and can see the difference for sure.

Anyways... For once I have to nod in approval of Edward in this because of what he tells her about knowing the consequences of her choice. Because honestly who would really want immortality? Only to watch the ones you love die and never be able to call anywhere home, because you would have to leave so no one noticed you weren't aging.

I don't know..Is this the 3rd movie?..I heard that the 3rd BOOK..Is very SEXUAL..and inter species "love scenes"..Thats what I are they going to "side-step" those topics in a PG-13 movie?

@PP Wait til the 4th one. Frikin Bella gets knocked up and the halfling starts killing Bella and Edward has to perform a c-section with his teeth. LMAO. I wanna know how they are gonna do THAT!
InstigatorGIRL - 3/11/2010, 3:08 PM
@Instigator & PP- They are still trying to figure out how to go about that, that is why a fourth/fifth film (they are probably going to spilt the last book into two movies) has not been started. They are trying to figure out a way to film the child. They don't want to use all CGI, but don't want to use a real baby due to the make-up it would require. Not to mention the rather..."exuberant" sex scenes. It'll be interesting to see how they work that out.

lol. I just had this thought that after they made the first movie and Meyers came out with the last book they read it and thought, "Fook..."
InstigatorGIRL - 3/11/2010, 5:05 PM
Igirl- LOL! I would definitly see the 4th one just
to see the c-section being performed with
his TEETH! there is NO WAY that could be in
PG-13 movie!

I'd interviewed screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg and we were speaking hypothetically about the notion of adapting a book that had a variety of creative difficulties and was attacked critically. She basically said that she wouldn't be able to work on something unless it was something she could get a handle on and could hone into a proper screenplay. In other words, she wouldn't do it if she could rewrite portions that needed rewriting. I haven't read the book, but I understand A LOT of work will have to be done in translating it to the screen.
