Ken Johnson's "V"-iew
When news came out that Scott Peters had been given the go-ahead to script a new version of "V" for a potential ABC series, concept originator Kenneth Johnson had the following response back in January.
On the official Kenneth Johnson website, the following observation was made in response to the announcement of Scott Peters developing a new "V" for ABC: "When projects that bore Kenny's original creative stamp and control have been taken on by other people, audiences have seen the results: earlier attempts at reviving 'V,' as well as The Incredible Hulk movies and the recently reimagined Bionic Woman all proved to be serious misfires which unfortunately failed with the critics and with the public. He is hopeful that wil not be the case if any TV series version of 'V' eventually goes forward."
